Vineland Cooperative Produce Auction - Premier Produce Auction in the Eastern United States

Vineland's success is paramount to New Jersey's and the Northeast region's agricultural industry. The Vineland Cooperative consists of hundreds of member farmers and an elected board of directors. "Fresh from the Garden State" these words represent the quality and variety of produce grown, bought and sold at the Vineland Produce Auction.

The Vineland Produce Auction is located on forty-four acres in Vineland, N.J.  The facility has approximately 130,000 square feet of cross-dock loading which the member farmers, brokers and distributors use to facilitate the sale of our members produce use. The Cooperative is financially strong, conservatively managed and committed to maintaining the relationship between the farmer, buyer and consumer.

The Cooperative has state of the art cooling facilities to maintain the cold chain and can cool approximately 200,000 packages in a 24-hour period.  Units are capable of maintaining temperatures from 0 degrees to 50 degrees.  A full service icehouse is open to all members and brokers as well as a fully stocked warehouse for all your supplies.

The member farmers grow a variety of crops such as arugula, basil, cilantro, dill, mint, parsley (curly and plain), a variety of lettuces from bibb, boston, endive, escarole, green leaf, iceberg, red leaf, and romaine.  In addition, other greens harvested are collards, kale, mustard, kohlrabi.  Other products are asparagus, beans, beets, a variety of cabbages, corn, eggplants, onions, peas, various peppers, squashes and turnips. Fruits grown by our members include blueberries, melons, strawberries and peaches.

The auction handles thousands of individual transactions during the average growing season, from early April to late November/early December year after year, which amounts to millions of packages being sold over the course of the growing season!
